About Us
South African Medical Services was established in 2016 as a level one B/BBE distributor of world- class medical supplies and devices for the South African Healthcare market. Our leading-edge devices facilitate care and treatment for all patients that require minimally invasive coronary procedures, enabling our healthcare professionals to provide optimal care to their patients.
We are the only distributor in South Africa that offers an end-to-end solution for angiography and angioplasty procedures. Some of our core products include minimally devices and accessories as well as procedure packs, gowns, drapes and other PPE. During the first two years of the company’s inception, CEO Sandesh Sukhlal, Managing Director Sholen Govender and Marketing Director Kandice Govender joined forces to make South African Medical Services the leading distributor of the medical supplies industry.
We are staffed with a team of 15 passionate, hardworking and experienced professionals who relentlessly strive for excellence. We currently serve 40 private and independent hospitals and are awarded the title of preferred supplier at several hospital groups and independents.
